I like the g2 engines so far they have been good I owned them slightly over a year and they have about 150 hrs on them. I love the trq they produce but like all things they have pros and cons. So far I have had one problem with them and the plastic coupler for the power steering stripped out but BRP has redesigned it so it won't happen again .

As for the boat I love my 2950 I'll probably repower it again before I buy another boat. I did just buy a forumla 242 ss project boat but that's just to play around with and sell.

I put a ton of work into phoenix it's hard to tell from the pictures but we have either redone or replaced 80 percent of the boat minus the hull and tanks.

    Love that boat! How's the non-skid holding-up?

That's the same way I feel about my 251. I've had her for 14 years and she needs some freshening up but not too bad. Main thing is a new engine. Looked at other boats but I just really like the way mine is set up to fish.Tried to post pictures yesterday but it said they were to big so I'll take some this weekend and post.

It is good. I was lucky to find this one. 700+ hrs and was well kept.

Boat looks great. I can't wait until I have an excuse to re-power mine.
